Listening to Mojaui is like bathing in moonlight – that beautifully eerie light symptomatic of solitude. But it is through solitude that we find communal truths. For the moon that casts light on a lonesome path is the same moon that regulates the waves crashing upon every shore; helping even the earth to exhale.
Mojaui is a reflection of that strange light. Bandmates Kayhan Golkar and Antrom Kury reckon with their solitary pain, find solace and package their intimate explorations in sound. This record, Lunar Bloom, is a reminder that things may break, but they are not always broken and some flowers bloom in the dark.
